All installations are inspected and where possible, tested as an ongoing part of the installation process

Commercial & Industrial Testing can be carried out to suit your requirements i.e. Weekends / Evenings or Holiday Periods

Temporary ongoing installation certificates are kept to hand along with Test Equipment calibration certificates for instant verification.

We also carry out Periodic Inspection Reports (PIRs) and Visual Condition Reports (VCRs).

The latter we will only carry out for landlords on change of tenancy with a current PIR, as we believe them to be greatly abused and of little use as a valid document on their own.

Electrical Installations deteriate over time and the IET (formerly the IEE) through its publication BS7671 ( The IEE Wiring Regulations) recommends the following intervals between PIRs

• Domestic Premises
• 10 years
• Commercial Premises
• 5 Years
• Industrial Premises
• 3 Years

A report should also be carried out on change of ownership or use.

It should be taken into consideration that time, along with use / misuse may reduce the frequency between inspections and this will be indicated on any reports issued.

A full maintenance service is offered as part of all installations carried out by us, as well as a maintenance only package.

• 3 / 6 / 12 monthly check (database driven: so no missed periods).
• Rolling programs can also be arranged  for you convenience to minimise disruption.

• Breakdown service.
• This by prior arrangement by means of dedicated hotline.
